The wind knocked me down!!

This is the bloody second time it's happened to me!! I curse the stupid wind..I don't know for sure but I think it's something like 75mph winds. I was on my way to class then I slipped on some ice and I fell (not fun..my bottom hurts!) Anyway that didn't discurage me b/c I struggled on and then a sudden gust of wind just knocked me down and I said nuts to this I'm going home!! I pity the fools who decided to go out today! Anyway yesterday was so wild..I mean it just started snowing like mad. Not that I'm complaining..I love snow. But it was such a hastle for my auntie. She flew up from Baltimore and yesterday she nearly missed her flight. She had a flight @ 6pm and so she called @ 3 to see if her flight was cancelled and it turned out they bumped her flight up to 4:30. Gah! lucky for us we live about 15 min from the airport. This story has a happy ending b/c she did make it..thanks to someones amazing driving skills :) Daddy is pretty good at cutting ppl off :p

I went to see Gracey on Wednesday. Me and Erin went over together and spent the day w/ her and Riley. He's sooo adorable. I just love him to pieces! Well I'm going to watch Neighbours. And for the rest of the day I'm going to veg out on the couch.

I'M AN AUNT!!!

I found out last night that Gracey had her baby! It's a healthy 10pound some odd ounces baby boy. She named him Riley Frances Mitchell :) I'm so happy that he was born. I feel kinda bad saying this but I was a little disappointed when I found out it was a boy. But nevertheless I'm so excited! Her water broke @ 3pm..she called Erin's house but unfotunately we were all in exams! boo for school! she was going to call our cell phones but then she went into contractions so she had to leave. Grace said she was having a natural birth..well you know that wasn't going to happen :) She's in a lot of pain but other than that she's fine. She's coming home Sunday night or Monday morning. Alright then when I get some pictures I'm going to put them up!

*yawn* I just got up a few minutes ago. "Why isn't Olivia at school?" I know you're asking yourself that question. Nothing really is going on in class right now. Yesterday, seriously, this is all I did in class. Listen to a person present some material that's not going to be on the exam for 45 minutes. Then we did an activity related to the chapters she covered. The activity was to colour a picture and then cut it out and paste it on to construction paper. Let me remind you this is a gr.12 course. I think my teacher is lazy(wait she IS lazy)and just doesn't want to think up lessons or review stuff for the exam. So she just makes us do presentations about stuff that really has nothing to do w/ the course. Ah, the Canadian education system really does work :p

Even if we weren't doing mindless work I don't think I would have gone anyway. Last night we rented some movies. Un wanted the Fast and the Furious...what a waste of $5.20 and then we got The Faculty. Hey I just wanted to watch that movie because Josh Hartnett was in it. Last week daddy wanted to watch Pearl Harbour and I just loved Josh Hartnett. He's on Un's list too..her list of guys she's obsessed with. Fortunately my list is not so long...*ahem* and pathetic as hers ^^

Grace is due any moment now..for those who are not familiar but my friend Grace is preganat. She's due on Monday but it could be this weekend. I still hoping for a girl..b/c I think if it's a boy it might turn a out to be a F.I.T.(Fruit In Training)b/c that baby is going to be spending a lot of time w/ a bunch of girls.

I'm so hungry..i should eat something before I keel over.

Wow! November was the last time I wrote!! Geez has it really been that long?! Jenny you were right I haven't been writing in my blog at all. Even though a lot has happened during December there is no way I'm going to write everything that has happened so I'll just write the highlights. But still where do I begin?

Ok I'll start on December 5th. That was the day of the Christmas banquet. I remember the night before me and my sister went down to Bay and Bloor to go shopping. We walked around for a while, going into every store and still I hadn't found anything. Then out of desperation I settled for this black pants and sheer black top ensemble. It didn't look too bad at all. Well the next day Me and Erin went to Mary's house and got ready. Me and Erin were ready to shoot ourselves because Mary was taking forever!! She must have tried on 6 outfits before she finally settled on the first one(the one I suggested she wear in the first place) isn't that what always happens? Anyway we arrived a little early because Erin was on the committee setting up the whole thing. We do anything except make punch and watch the magician practice. Well I excited because Courtney, or butch as I call her, was supposed to come to the banquet. I haven't seen butch in over a year and was really looking forward to it. *sigh* unfortunately she couldn't come because she had to work. Well I had an excellent time, the magic show was great and the dinner was good too. The only thing that really spoiled the evening was Courtney not coming and Grace deciding to not go at the last minute.

Now on to December 15th, that was the day of our Christmas party. I started the day by going over to Erin's house and helping her make some snacks for the party. Then around 11:30 am Grace came over and we all went over the meet the rest of the gang at the restaurant. After lunch we all piled into Jenna's car and drove back to Erin's. We started to open gifts but of course Jamie and Steve had to crash the party and start singing "happy, happy birthday" For those that don't know..these 2 guys are 20 and 22 years of age. After a lot of yelling and screaming they left and we continued opening gifts. I got a lot of nice things..and a few gag gifts from Erin. She gave me a puzzle of Kevin Richardson's face. I think she was getting me back for giving her that heart shaped candle and writing on the gift tag: "To: Erin my love Love: Kevin your lover Kevin + Erin =true love" but who knows :) Then after we cracked our crackers I made everyone wear their paper crowns. Jenna that idiot didn't crack it but just ripped it open :( I don't understand someone who is that smart could be so stupid! Grace got a lot of cute baby stuff. I just loved the outfit I bought for her. It's this white and yellow sleeper w/ a matching pair of sock and a hat. It was so cute when me and Erin saw it in the baby Gap I had to get it! Erin bought her these adorable pair of baby shoes. We find out next week the sex of the baby. I want it so bad to be a girl. Grace wants a boy but I explained to her Riley(baby's name regardless of sex)is going to be spending a lot of time w/ us and if it's a boy then it might *ahem* become a little..flamboyant. Anywho she's going for her ultrasound next week sometime.

December 20th was the last day of school for me. I went to my co-op placement and we had a little Christmas party so my day was basically very interesting. I mean the children are so excited about the holiday and we don't help by pumping them full of candy and sugar. Well I was sad and relieved at the same time when the day came to an end. I gave my gifts to my teacher and teacher's assistant and they nicely got me a gift too. I just wonder what it's going to be like when my placement is over and how the class is going to adjust.

December 21 ahh the last day of school! I went to class..but I don't know why I bothered because all we did was sit on our butts and watch "How the grinch stole Christmas" not that I'm complaining. Then after I met Un and Jenny for lunch and a movie. We went and had chicken katsu(?) I was craving for so long..and I was sooo happy we ate it. Then we went shopping and Jenny bought me this ring and necklace set for Christmas. It's the most interesting ring I've seen. It's a silver band with amber stones. After we went and saw Lord of the Rings. I totally loved that movie! It was just so awesome! I can't wait to see it again! Un got me the first book and I've almost finished it b/c it's so good. After the movie we went out and had dinner. I had a bento box :) it was good :p

December 25th..CHRISTMAS DAY! Me and mommy made a turkey dinner and she invited some of her friends. We invited Jenny but she couldn't come over. I was so upset that she couldn't come over (that's right Jenny I was upset)besides that we didn't do much but I did get my gifts from mommy and Un gave my presents ahead of time.

Now you're all up-to-date. Today is Boxing Day..but I didn't go out b/c there is no way I'm facing those crowds. All those crazy bargain hunters foaming at the mouth trying to grab whatever they can for 50% off! Forget it!! I haven't gone Boxing Day shopping in years, mainly because I was never in Canada for Christmas, but I didn't feel like starting today. I spent a quiet day at home ate some leftover turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes from last night and watched the hockey game. Now that's my kind of day!
